Location
The hotel is located at the foot of one of Europe’s highest mountains, Mount Ushba (4710 m), next to the village of Mazeri in the mountainous landscape of Svaneti in the northwestern part of Georgia in the Caucasus in the southwestern corner of Europe. To the north, Svaneti borders Russia (the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria), in the west, the Abkhaz part of Georgia and in the south and east, the Georgian regions of Mingrelia and Racha Lechkhumi.
The hotel is situated approximately 10 kilometres, as the crow flies, from the Russian border, approximately 25 kilometres from Europe’s highest mountain Elbrus (5 642 m) and about 250 kilometres by air from Sochi, where the Winter Olympics will take place in 2014.
